How your donation helps

Your donation helps us reach homeless youth who are struggling with substance use by giving them access to a safe space, compassionate mental-health support, coping tools, and resources that reduce harm and promote stability. Every dollar makes a difference in providing these essential services.

Suggested donation amounts

$25 — A little care goes a long way: Provides snacks, warm drinks, or hygiene items that help youth feel nourished, respected, and looked after.

$50 — Safety first: Helps us restock harm-reduction and first-aid supplies—like naloxone kits and sterile materials—that keep youth safe in difficult moments.

$75 — Tools for healing: Supports mental-health resources, coping worksheets, and take-home tools that help youth build skills and confidence.

$100 — A safe space on wheels: Covers the cost of one supportive session on the CareAVan, giving a youth a place to breathe, talk, and feel understood.

$250 — Keep us moving: Helps fuel, maintain, and clean the CareAVan so we can continue showing up for youth—right where they are, when they need it most.

$500+ — Community champion: Strengthens ongoing programming, outreach, and toolkit replenishment, helping CareAVan reach more youth with dignity and compassion.

Unlike many charities that require youth to come to them, CareAVan goes directly to homeless and substance-using youth, meeting them where they are with trauma-informed, harm-reduction support. Your donation directly fuels a mobile service that reaches young people who are often overlooked by traditional systems.
